GMA-30 is a powdered additive which provides control of gas migration after cementing through two mechanisms: fluid loss control and increased cement fluidity delaying the static gel development
Cementing Additives
Gas Migration Additives
GMA-31 is a powdered additive that functions both for fluid-loss control and as a cement fluidity modifier to aid in the prevention of gas migration after cementing. It is effective at circulating temperatures from 60°F to at least 300°F.
GMA-32 is a powdered additive that functions both for fluid-loss control and as a cement fluidity modifier to aid in the prevention of gas migration after cementing. It is effective at circulating temperatures from 60°F to at least 250°F.
GMA-34L is a liquid latex additive used in oil well cementing for gas migration/fluid loss control and acid resistant. GMA-34L prevents the penetration of gas into the cement sheath (gas cutting). GMA-34L improves the mechanical properties of the cement.
Bonding Improver/Expansion Additives
BIE-37 is a finely powdered reactive metal blended. BIE-37 generate highly flammable hydrogen gas on reacting with the cement slurry and increases the compressibility of the slurry improving the bond of cement to pipe and formation by causing the cement to expand before it sets. BIE-37 helps prevent gas migration for low to severe gas flow severity.
BIE-38 is a finely powdered highly reactive encapsulated metal. BIE-38 generate highly flammable hydrogen gas on reacting with the cement slurry and increases the compressibility of the slurry improving the bond of cement to pipe and formation by causing the cement to expand before it sets. BIE-38 helps to prevent gas migration for low to severe gas flow severity.
HTE-39 contains a blend of finely powdered alkaline oxide which provides notable cement post-set expansion temperature above 170°F BHST. This good micro-expansion properties on cement systems is a great solution for the shrinkage phenomena due hydration process in common cement or cement blends and occur during setting or when the compressive strength is being developed, improving the cement bond to pipe and formation and preventing micro-annular flow
MTE-36 contains a blend of finely powdered alkaline oxide which provides notable cement post-set expansion at low-temperature. MTR-36 can be used to provide micro-expansion at bottom-hole temperatures below 130°F and up to 170°F. This expansion reaction is a great solution for the shrinkage phenomena due hydration process in common cement or cement blends.
