Formic Acid is an organic acid that is used mostly in two oilfield applications: as  an “intensifier” to assist in corrosion inhibition of hydrochloric acid, and as a “stand-  alone” acid for high-temperature wells.

INHO-10 is a primary  corrosion  inhibitor  designed for use in organic acids such as acetic, formic and citric, as well as oxo acids such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid.   INHO-10 gives excellent inhibition on steel, in both oilfield  and industrial applications, at temperatures  up to 300°F or more.

INHS-11   is  a  nonionic  acid  inhibitor  designed for  use  in  specialized situations where conventional cationic  inhibitors may be inappropriate  for  use

INHCL-12  is  designed  to  inhibit  acid  corrosion  of  steel  at  temperatures  up  to  at  least 160°F.  It is readily  dispersible   in  oilfield  acids  and  shows  good  compatibility  with common  nonemulsifiers.  INHCL-12 contains  no   nonylphenols  or  quaternary  amines  and is  “environment-  friendly”  compared  to  many  other  acid  inhibitors.

NHCL-13 is a moderate-temperature  corrosion inhibitor for oilfield acids. It is easily dispersed in acid solutions and shows minimal tendency to “oil  out”. INHCL-13 is environmentally “greener” than older inhibitors, as it contains no nonylphenols or quaternary amines.

INHCL-14  is  an  inhibitor  for  oilfield  acids, particularly  hydrochloric acid and hydrochloric/hydrofluoric   mixtures. It is designed  for  use  at  temperatures  of  200°F  to 350°F.

INHW-15  is a corrosion inhibitor designed for use in acidizing water wells that are used for potable or irrigation water. It is a product of Henkel Surface Technologies
